Outdoor therapy

Sometimes called walking and talking therapy, wild therapy or nature therapy; outdoor therapy takes counselling out of the therapy room and into the great outdoors.

We can look at what nature means to you and how you connect with the outdoors, I offer three nature locations in and around the Fleet and Farnborough area of Hampshire, we can walk side by side and/or sit on a bench. Should the weather not be favourable on your allocated day and time, I will offer you an alternative by holding your therapy session online or telephone.

Some of the benefits of this type of therapy are spending time with nature can help reduce feelings of stress and has been proven to have a positive effect on our mood. Some clients find it easier to talk whilst moving and not having to make eye contact in the traditional face-to-face therapy setting.
